7Cinderella lives with her mean stepmother and two stepsisters. They are not kind to her. They make Cinderella do all the housework. She cleans the house, washes the dishes, cooks and does the laundry. But Cinderella is kind and patient. She talks with the little birds and mice who live in and around the house. They are her only friends.One day, an invitation card arrives from the palace. There is a big party at the palace. The prince wants to find a wife. Every woman in the kingdom can join the party. Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters are very excited. They start to prepare. They choose their best dresses and dream about dancing with the Prince. Cinderella says, \Her stepsisters laugh at her. \They leave Cinderella at home and go to the party. Cinderella feels very sad. Suddenly, a fairy appears. She asks, \Cinderella replies, \She uses her magic wand to make a beautiful dress for Cinderella. She also turns a pumpkin into a beautiful carriage and mice into horses.
